All these and many more are available, hence it's related to food. I don't play with food 😀, so when I recommend a place as a food item spot, trust me, you can't find less.
My experience about the market
As you wander through the market like I use to do most times,😃 you will notice that it is actually divided into sections - such that each section specializes in a particular product.
While some vendors might not strictly adhere to this arrangement(ofcourse such stubbornness is comon in Nigeria), but then, about 60% still maintain their designated spots, making it relatively easy to find what you need.
Incase you are wondering why they don't maintain their designated spot according to the market seating plan - they feel that if they seat at such designated places, they might not sell their items on time - that it might not be expose for buyers to see.
Why You will love Anua African market
You see, this place has been my life-saving spot per se for the past years, because this is where I get my food stuff.
And here are the reasons I'll recommend the place for you as well if you are living in Nwaniba-Uyo:
📍 Convenient Location: This market is strategically located for easy access just along the main road. It's not something you will have to fight for bad road to get there. The road is good.
💰 Moderate Prices: Prices of food items are very much reasonable and it also follows the country's economy. Since most people bring their food items directly from their farm, they give a fair price while selling their farm products.
💎 Variety of Payment Options: Gone are the days where we need to hold physical cash before we could buy food stuff. In this market, sellers accept both cash and bank transfers. Infact if you need cash, there are several POS terminals available for transactions
⌚ Extended operating hours: Open from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, every single day which makes it easier for people like me who always close late at night to still cook food.
And all I have to say..
As a regular visitor or customer at Anua market, I can attest that Anua Market is my go-to destination for buying foodstuffs to cook.
People parking their cars to buy, this is how friendly this market could be...
The market vendors are friendly, they make shopping here a great experience.
Don't be afraid to haggle prices, especially if you're buying in bulk, those old women will drag their own price, but hey - just be friendly and everything will go well.

The point that is marked on Google map is no longer the exact point. It used to be. The community took over that side and extended it to the point I marked.
