Ibom Tropicana in Uyo - Nigeria is an interesting place to visit if you are looking for fun, relaxation, adventure or a place for shopping with exciting activities like Silverbird Cinemas, and varieties of delicious food for all races in the world.

For clarity sake, while many also refer to Ibom Tropicana as "Market Square," please note that Market Square is a retail store located within the Tropicana Mall which is part of the larger Ibom Tropicana complex.

This incredible mall is were I normally do my shopping when it comes to buying of phones, infact, all my phones - I bought them here.

"Tropicana" as we normally call it here in Uyo is one place that showcase my city in good light and it is a world-class leisure resort that has been entertaining visitors for years in the city of Uyo.

It is not just a shopping mall as you might just easily imagine, this sprawling complex is a tropical paradise that really offers a wide range of amenities and activities that cater to people of all ages and interests - irrespective of whether you are a thrill-seeker, a foodie like me😅 or just looking for a relaxing getaway, trust me, this place is just a place for you.

This place was actually designed for the purpose of providing a unique leisure experience for the people of Akwa Ibom State and beyond. The idea of building a structure like this was also driven by a vision to create a world-class destination that would showcase the rich cultural heritage and natural beauty of our region.

Almost every year, Ibom Tropicana has gradually evolved to become one of the most popular tourist destinations in Nigeria which attracts visitors from all over the country and even beyond.

Gaming Zone: There are lots of game spots were you, your friends and family can while away time. The gaming zone is equipped with the latest technology and offers a wide range of games to suit all interests. Isn't this enough to move you to visit here

Kilimanjaro Restaurant

Restaurants : There are actually a lot of eateries in this mall, at least 7 with some big seating space where visitors can seat to have some great moment. And there is always music in the background to spice up the moment while eating. Sports/filtered music videos are streamed for users to enjoy. I think in the time past most real Steemit meet-ups where always done there.

So, if you wanna test something different as a foreigner or visitor - just savor local like a soups and Eba, stews, and rice dishes etc and international cuisine like Chinese, Italian, and Indian cuisine etc at any of the Ibom Tropicana's many eateries, offering everything from our traditional Nigerian dishes to exotic cocktails which I like taking once in a while.

Their resort's culinary team is dedicated to providing the best, they are trained. I would also be right if I say that they are world-class dining experience that will leave you wanting more.

Cinemas: There is a Cinema spot in this mall which is generally operated by Silverbird Cinemas. You can enjoy various movies here, including 4DX sessions that uses virtual reality.I have visited that spot on few occasions and I can assure you one thing - You won't know when it's night while seeing a movie there.

Event Spaces: You can host your special occasions, conferences and meetings at Ibom Tropicana's event spaces. It is fully equipped with top-notch amenities and services and a total of 1000 guests can be occupied.

Shopping: Inside this mall, there are numerous retail shops. For example, there are shops that sells cosmetics, costumes, electrotronics like TVs, home theaters and othe house gadgets - anyone you can think of.

There are escalators and elevators to ensure optimal comfort and ease of access across its various levels. This place is just one best place in this state.

The parking space for vehicles is very large and can accomodate more than 500 vehicles. Their prices are very much moderate and reasonable.
