Steemit Challenge Season 26 Week 02 - A Favourite Natural Tourist Attraction (Wildlife Lakki Marwat)
Greetings,
A few months back, I got an opportunity to go to my cousin in Lakki Marwat, a district of southern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa which is generally recalled because of its distinct tradition and the beauty of the nature.
My stay was not as unforgettable as it had been on the previous occasion but it was in our visit to the wildlife park where we were able to see some of the rare and exciting animal and bird species.

As a nature lover and fan of wildlife, it was as though one had passed through the gates into an alternate realm.
Lakki Marwat is rich in wildlife which includes the beautiful waterfowl and exotic mammals. The park does not merely provide a home to the endangered species, but it is also an informative and entertaining destination to tourists.

As I would arrange through the enclosures and open spaces, I was able to feel how much nature has to provide in case we have learned to preserve it.
Rare Animals and Species
The first section of the park introduced us to different kinds of deer. Among them, the Chital (Spotted Deer / Axis Deer) caught my attention with its graceful body and dotted coat. And than another animal , look was more like Demoiselle Cranes.

Nearby, I saw the Chinkara Deer (چکارہ ہرن) also known as the Indian Gazelle, which looked incredibly swift and elegant. On the other side we saw a Demoiselle Cranes.
And there is other Water fowl species , with in introductory board where mentioned each species names....,

As we moved forward, the Blackbuck (کالا ہرن) stood proudly with its spiral horns, while the Red Deer (سرخ ہرن) impressed with its tall structure and commanding presence. Each type of deer seemed to tell its own story, reminding me how precious our natural heritage is.
Apart from deer, the park also had larger mammals. The Double-Humped Camel (دو کوبان والا اونٹ), also known as the Bactrian Camel, was truly fascinating because it is not commonly found in Pakistan. Standing tall, it looked like a symbol of strength and endurance. Another surprise was the Zebra (زیبرا), with its unique black-and-white stripes that made it stand out from all other animals. Seeing a zebra in Lakki Marwat was something I never imagined!

Birds and Personal Reflections
The other attraction in my trip was the flying birds. One may observe different species of waterfowl which make the entire place to have life and sound. The flitting to and fro on the waters, their sojourn on the banks, gave a lowly aspect to the place. To a person that likes bird watching, this would be a heaven.
In general, the experience of the visit was not limited to animal observation, as I connected to nature. I learnt the need of conserving the wildlife not only to make the earth environmentally balanced but also to the future generations who would like to see these creatures in their natural state.

The wildlife park of Lakki Marwat is not just a tourist spot; it is a retrospective that we do not have this world alone and there are many species that we should take care of and protect.
This trip was invigorating to me. In case someone intends to travel to Lakki Marwat, I would for sure advise him/her to take some time off and investigate this wildlife treasure. It becomes the adventure of learning, marvel and appreciating the miracles of nature.
