There are times when we find ourselves in difficult situations or situations in which it is not very pleasant to remain, that is when we must stop and ask ourselves what is it that God is wanting to do or is doing through our lives in favor of others?
But he knows my way;
He will test me, and I will come out as gold.
11 My feet have followed his steps;
I have kept his way, and have not departed.
12 I have not departed from the commandment of his lips;
I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my food.
13 But if he determines a thing, who can change it?
His soul desired it, and it did it.
14 He will therefore finish what he has determined for me;
And many such things are in him.
Job 23:10-14
Let's imagine the following scene: we enter a hotel whose restaurant is the most prestigious in the city, at the entrance we are greeted by a kind of well-dressed butler, very kind and very polite, he invites us to sit at one of the best tables, the place is fully equipped, a space of luxury and comfort, a place that we have visited very few times in our lives, he removes our seat and invites us to sit, the table is set with the most dazzling tableware ever seen. Suddenly a handsome man approaches with a covered platter, closes to our table, removes the cover and we have just a couple of sweets.
Does that picture seem inconsistent? Now let's just think about our life, or the life of someone we know, there are situations that can seem as disappointing as it is four. We can be like that sublime and dazzling place but our message is simply hollow or resonant, simply something sweet to the palate like candy, but imagine if instead of finding sweets on the plate we found one of the best delicacies we have ever tasted in life, so the whole picture is completed in perfect harmony and coherence of all the above.
While we prepare our hearts, the Lord works in us so that through the learning of your word and the experiences we live daily we build a valuable message for others, all circumstances become part of the message of hope and motivation for the people who listen, let us always keep this in mind according to the situations that are presented to us even when they are not the best for what we hope for.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our tribulations, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any tribulation, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 5 For as the afflictions of Christ abound in us, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.
