Let us understand a little more about the sacrifice of Christ.

Christ decided to take on all the consequences of sin that were placed upon us and thus make us righteous in Him.
Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane, and said to his disciples, Sit here while I go over there and pray. 37 And he took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and greatly troubled. 38 Then Jesus said to them, My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death; tarry here, and watch with Me. 39 And going a little farther, he fell upon his face, and prayed, and said, My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will. 40 Then he came to his disciples, and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, So you could not watch with Me one hour? 41 Watch and pray, that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. 42 He went away again and prayed a second time, saying, "My Father, if this cup cannot pass from me unless I drink it, may your will be done." 43 He came again and found them sleeping, for their eyes were heavy with sleep. 44 And leaving them, he went away again and prayed a third time, saying the same words. 45 Then he came to his disciples and said to them, "Sleep on now and take your rest. Behold, the hour has come, and the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. 46 Get up, let us go; see, he who betrays me is at hand."
Matthew 26.36-46
On Mount Gethsemane we remember the prayer of Jesus Christ that was not just once, he spoke of that cup on the part of the father, he spoke of a cup of sin, anger and judgment that I am sure shook the whole life of Jesus.
17 Awake, awake, arise, O Jerusalem, who hast drunk from the hand of the Lord the cup of his wrath; for you have drunk the cup of stupefaction to the dregs.
Isaiah 51:17
The word of God also teaches us that Jesus Christ not only died for our sins but at that very moment he himself became sin, the sin of all humanity, carried within himself.
21 He made him who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in him.
2 Corinthians 5:21
That holy perfect son of God took upon his body and his life all the worst of humanity and thus became the worst that could have existed by assuming our humanity, our sin at the moment when God turned his back on him for that reason.
Christ is one with the Father and from the beginning of the relationship He enjoyed that perfect unity with God, but there was something that was not compatible with God, the presence of sin is an obstacle between God and men, and it was also at that moment on the cross when Jesus Christ himself became sin, Jesus felt abandoned by his father.
About the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? That is, My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"
Matthew 27:46
