Our destiny as children of God?

We have the opportunity to trust God with all our strength and are confident that He will provide us with everything we truly need.
6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 For the carnal mind is enmity against God, for it does not submit to the law of God, nor indeed can; 8 and those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. 10 But if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
Romans 8:6-11
Dying to the flesh happens when we access salvation, when we choose to be crucified with Christ. From then on, a new nature is conceived in us; God's Holy Spirit begins a new work in our lives. Yet, for some people, it takes a little longer to surrender their lives to the Lord.
the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, because he dwells with you and will be in you.
John 14:17
From the moment God gives us this new nature, we can experience the peace and freedom that Christ has won, triumphing over sin once and for all. But this doesn't end here; it's just beginning, since God's desire is for us to grow into the image of his Son, Jesus Christ.
29 For those whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, so that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.
Romans 8:29
And so it is when, little by little, we progressively learn and put Jesus Christ as our priority. As a result, we abandon and set aside that which does not contribute to the purpose of serving and following God. Little by little, we are becoming like Jesus Christ. But this is not automatic; it is a daily decision. Our work consists of nourishing ourselves with the word of God for development.
Little by little, we renounce the things that do not suit us or that harm us. Our self-esteem gradually becomes detached from the things of this world. Our sense of acceptance is no longer based on the people around us; it is based on Jesus Christ and on the firm word that confirms that we now belong to him and live for God in Christ Jesus.
11 Likewise, you also reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:11
