We have the great opportunity to believe what God's word teaches, and among all this, we discover that we are precious in God's sight.

9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his special possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. 10 You who once were not a people, but are now the people of God. You who once had not received mercy, but now have received mercy.

1 Peter 2:9-10

And you have moments where it seems we need a dose of self-esteem, where we are not at our best in our self-perception, moments when discouragement is present in our minds, and we need to fully trust in God's word instead of being guided by our emotions. Today I want to share with you some steps that truly describe how God sees each of us as members of:
God sees us as part of a chosen lineage. This means that God has selected each of us to be part of His kingdom, and much more importantly, part of His family, His children, because we are the ones He loves the most and yearns for at all times.
God also sees us as part of a royal priesthood. As children of God, we are part of that royal family. Let us remember that Christ has the role of king and, right now, of priest. In the same way, God has also entrusted us with those irresponsible priestly roles. Today we present ourselves before God as worshipers and also as intercessors for others, just as Christ is today for all humanity, especially for those who believe in Him.
God also sees us as a holy nation, that is, we are part of the body of Christ. As a church, we constitute the body. Each member is placed with the purpose of serving God and men.

who gave himself for us to redeem us from all iniquity and purify for himself a people of his own, zealous for good works.

Titus 2:14

God's special possession, that is, we belong to God. He sent his Son to die on the cross in our place so that we could be his. For each of us who believe in Jesus Christ today belongs to God.
Each of these descriptions, in terms of how God sees us, also shows the value God gives us. Today we have the privilege and opportunity to demonstrate the truth of God's word and thus remind the world of our identity, living in God's call and inviting many to be part of this honor.
