We have a sure victory over sin.

We all need to be free from sin, from the result that we have dragged along since the beginning of time. We only find that victory in Christ.
11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly desires, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 awaiting the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a special people zealous for good works.
Titus 2:11-14
Sin is transversal to all humanity, regardless of race, creed, or any other condition, nor does it matter what form it takes, the objective is always to stray us from the path or to divert our gaze from God.
This begins in our mind, with a thought, then an intention, little by little this becomes evident with our behavior until we come to say "What I'm doing is not so bad, besides all people behave the same way."
If we follow this tendency, sin demands many things while its benefits are not good and are short-term, after this we experience emptiness, pain and disconsolation, the loss is greater than the gain. Sin brings confusion in our thoughts and in our emotions, divides our mind, makes our efforts divided and increases our worry. Little by little we feel that this guilt takes its toll on us And brings as a result the negative consequences that we so wanted to avoid.
Very different when at the beginning we put faith in Jesus Christ and are free from that condemnation of sin that spread over all humanity since the times of the snow, we are also free from the tendency of sin of our mortal bodies, ideas and daily practices. We begin a journey toward freedom, exposing all our affairs to Jesus Christ who has washed us and forgives us of sin. We recognize that we are weak and that our strength is in Jesus in whom we rely and trust to walk. We learn to walk under the direction of God in our life changes for the better.
57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:57
