LIGHT GIVES LIFE
FOCAL SCRIPTURE
JOHN 10:9-17
I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. Vs 9
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Vs 10
I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. Vs 11
As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. Vs 15
And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. Vs 16
Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. Vs 17

Life on this terrestrial plain will simply grind to an end in the absence of light.
Think about the process through which green plants prepare their food known as photosynthesis. This is the process by which green plants and certain organisms use the energy of light to convert carbon dioxide and water into the simple sugar glucose.
In so doing, photosynthesis provides the basic energy source for virtually all organisms.
An extremely important byproduct of photosynthesis is oxygen on which most organisms depend, even humans live on the same oxygen in respiration.
Most animals and plants live in a symbiotic relationship due to this, in that the oxygen produced by plants in photosynthesis is taken in by humans and other animals as the carbon dioxide produced by humans and animals are taken by the plants to continue its food building cycle.
Jesus, the light of the world said,
I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it abundantly. Vs 10
2Corinthians 5:17:
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. Vs 17
The Christian faith is a living faith, it is a life giving faith.
The ministry of darkness is that of death while that of light is life. In Christ, we have a new life.
Your life as a Christian must affect people that comes in contact with you to the point of transformation.
Jesus told Martha in John 11:25:
I am the resurrection and the life, he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. Vs 25
Herein lies the uniqueness of faith in Christ, no other religion promises life in this fashion and yours is not a religion, it is more than that. It is the life of Christ and the hope of this is anchored upon the truth that Jesus is alive today and forever more.
Because He lives, we live and will continue to live.
You are an ambassador of Christ any where you find yourself, so let you light shine because He lives in you for the world to see and glorify your father in heaven.
Don't let the world become sour or bitter because you've refused to add salt (which you are the salt of the earth) to it to become sweet for everyone to live in.
You can make a difference in that small corner you find yourself because you carry light, don't go away from that place without placing your light on the candlelight for the world to see.
Embrace Him and see the glory of God in your life today.
Release yourself to this reality so that the Christlikeness in you will affect others for good.
Remember to touch someone today with your life.
Don't cover your light, allow it radiate from your inside to your outside.

Jesus is the life in me
It is no longer I that liveth but Christ that liveth in me.
PRAYER
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Truly, Christ in us makes us glow as the brightess of the sun for the world.
Thank you sir, of a truth, only when we have Christ in us the hope of glory, only then can we boast of His life in us which is light to the world and the darkest part of our life.
