God accompanies us at all times!!!
This text allows us to reflect and understand that God doesn't promise us a life that will be rosy and that we won't have any problems or suffering; quite the opposite: it makes it clear that the righteous—that is, those who walk with Him—will go through various afflictions, but God at that very moment promises that He Himself will take care of freeing them from all of them.
Since we think we're doing things right, we shouldn't suffer, but in this verse we find that idea is shattered. Being righteous doesn't make us immune to pain, but trusting in God assures us that we won't be alone, that there is a way out of everything, and that way out comes from the hand of God.
Let us understand that God doesn't avoid the storm, but He does accompany us in the boat until calm comes.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
But the Lord delivers him out of them all.
Psalm 34:19
