God urges us to love!
Today, God reminds us through His word that God's great love is not just something we receive. God's love is what we, as children of God, must reflect in our daily lives. God loved us first; His love is sublime, immeasurable. His love has no conditions or reservations; we must share it with others.
There is a great challenge: Do we truly love those who do not treat us well? There are people who have hurt us, those with whom we have differences, or those with whom we simply struggle to understand. God asks us to love, and that love He has placed in our hearts does NOT depend on how we feel; it all depends on what we decide. We can choose to forgive, to love, and to seek peace.
God urges us to reflect His love in words, actions, and attitudes. . .
Beloved, if God has loved us so, we too must love one another.
