He who persists is the one who wins.
Life has difficult moments, moments when we are presented with temptations, trials, and various battles of different kinds. But this verse we read today reminds us of something extremely important: he who perseveres is the one who wins.
He doesn't promise us a life without struggles or trials; what he promises is a reward for those who persevere, those who don't give up, for those who hold His hand by faith and keep walking even when everything is very difficult or uphill.
God promises us a crown of life. Here, too, we will have peace, maturity, and spiritual growth. We begin to experience victory here on earth when we live by faith in God and His promises.
Blessed is the man who endures temptation, for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him.
