The triumphal entry of Jesus.

This verse shows us the picture of Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem, but very differently than what people expected. Instead of entering on a war horse like a king, Jesus entered on one, representing a humble and peaceful person.
This shows us that Jesus, despite being the creator of all, the king of heaven and earth, presents himself in a humble and meek manner. Most of the time, we as human beings, who are so caught up in power and success, even in appearances, forget the greatness we find in humility and service. Jesus presents himself with a message of love and reconciliation.
We too must learn to be humble and no longer focus solely on the recognition and glory of everything we do. Let us reflect on how we are living our daily lives.
Say to the daughter of Zion:
Behold, your King comes to you,
Meek, and sitting upon a donkey,
And upon a colt, the foal of a donkey.
Matthew 21:5
