You and I are the temple of God.

Today we can contemplate a powerful truth: we don't need a temple or a physical church to be in the very presence of God because His word reminds us that God dwells among us.
Every thought we have, every word that comes out of our mouth, every decision has eternal repercussions because we are God's dwelling place. This isn't something poetic or symbolic; it's a spiritual reality. God's Holy Spirit has been destined to live in us, not to make us perfect, because we have been bought with love by grace, redeemed forever.
This is also a call to take responsibility, because if we are a temple, the question is: How are we caring for our temple? And this doesn't just refer to the physical.
This is also a call to take responsibility, because if we are a temple, the question is: How are we caring for our temple? And this doesn't just refer to the physical; here it is also involved in the emotional, relational, and spiritual aspects. Everything makes sense when we know to whom we belong, so you must know that you are no less; your identity is as a child of God.
Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
