"Then some came to him bringing a paralytic"
(Mark 2: 3)

This man who suffered from paralysis remained in an immobile state. Paralysis is a term that was applied to a number of diseases in Jesus' time. It was used to describe the condition of a person who was able to move a certain area of his body. This man was apparently unable to perform the necessary movements to be able to walk.

In a paralysis of this type, the muscles, tissues, blood vessels, bone, nerves, and any other physical attributes necessary for movement are present. But for some reason, they rebel against the order of the brain.

I should be able to move from where I am, but I can not. I'm immobile.
I would like to move, but I can not. I'm stuck to this place.
I do not want to live like I'm living, but I do not think I can change. I am rooted in this condition.
I would like a better life for my family, but I can not make it happen. I can not stop being who I am.

The angry men when they feel "tied". They feel as if everyone else moves freely. They have all the necessary attributes, physical, mental, and emotional necessary to achieve change and growth, they can still think about feeling. They conserve talents and abilities and opportunities. But your inner being does not respond to orders. They are in a condition of inner rebellion.

Tension becomes pressure, and pressure becomes rage, and continuous rage creates fatigue. The dictionary defines fatigue in part, as "having a sense of exhausted pleasure". When you are fatigued, nothing excites you. Everything seems monotonous and tasteless. You numb, you are unable to act or even believe that things can change. Each day is the same as the previous one.

It is not a matter of whether you live in a residence or in a suburb. If there is no freedom in your mind and courage in your spirit, you will feel as if you are in a prison cell. You will feel overwhelmed.

Overshoot, anger, and prejudice are not tied to a race or income level. They infect anyone. And if their presence becomes sufficiently severe, they will lead the person to a state of disability, paralysis, and immobility.

Such a person is sick with internal paralysis
A man can remain motionless in the memories of childhood.
A man can remain motionless in the memories and affairs of his adolescence
A man can remain motionless because of some problem as an adult.
While one type of paralysis leaves a person "frozen", unable to move, another type of paralysis leaves a person with spasmodic movements, the person can not coordinate their movements, or hold the objects they wish to hold.
Some men can not keep a job.
They can not keep a relationship alive.
They can not take complete control of their finances or save money.
They can not fulfill what they have promised. His word has very little value.
Some part of your life is out of control.

  1. Lust out of control ...
  2. Rage out of control ...
  3. Bitterness out of control. The man with this type of paralysis knows that something is wrong with him, but he can not do anything about it.
A third type of paralysis occurs due to muscle exhaustion. The muscles of man become so worn that they can not move. The mind, emotions, and spirit can also become exhausted.

If everyone around you subtracts everything you have, you will be empty unless you have another way to fill your life. That applies to your finances, your emotions, your ministry, your health. If you do not do something to reintegrate what you have taken, very soon you will not have anything to give. Simply, it is not possible to encourage others indefinitely without the time that you get discouraged, you drain or you stay empty in the process. You must use for your benefit, participation in conferences, meetings, seminars, and retreats that contribute to your growth and nourish your spirit.

Whatever caused this man's paralysis, stiff muscles, atrophied muscles, or exhausted muscles ... Jesus was a great doctor! Whatever the state of your paralysis is now, Jesus holds the key for you to have a vibrant, free, healthy and abundant life.

The Bible tells us that when David's family was taken captive in Sclag, David became "very distressed" ... "but David strengthened himself in Jehovah his God" (1 Samuel 30: 6).

The Epistle of Jude speaks of "edifying" us about your most holy faith. How? Praying in the Holy Spirit, and remaining in the love of God, resting in the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ for eternal life (Jude 20:21). Build yourself in Jesus!

Refuses to live in a state of rigidity, out of control,

or exhausted. Ask the Lord Jesus to impart His life to you.

Sort:

@peraza God is our strength in all circumstances and we must always believe that, because it is his eternal promise to his people. He has promised to give us freedom.
