RE: Humane and inhumane

inhumanity manifests itself for no apparent reason;

I get it but I still think all kind of inhumane behaviour can somehow be linked back to the basic three. It's possible that people think that they are misbehaving for fun or just because they can; the underlying reason could be totally something else such as fear of losing control or power which brings them back to survival mode.

I also think every generation has their own set of issues. I used to think life was better in 90s but what would I know about the world then, I was just a kid. Similary, my 8yo thinks life is good right now and I think opposite. He doesn't have that much exposure and experiences yet as I do. Having said that, I'm not denying the unwanted access to almost everything given by technology will be an ever increasing threat to every generation in the future. So yeah, things are getting out of control. We don't need gunfires or nuclear blasts to initiate wars anymore, we are fighting many other wars and heading towards chaos anyways.

imagine if there were no religions,

Chaotic.

When I was a kid, I thought the world I lived in was a really crappy place. We had no money and almost nothing during communism. Then things seemed to get even worse, life became very dangerous, dangers of fraud and crime lurked everywhere. Then... things supposedly got better in some ways, but there's still no progress that I was hoping for, or that I was taught to look for and expect. On a micro and personal level, things move very, very slowly, because on a macro level they move just as slowly. And yes, I also think that every generation has its problems. I think my parents are happy with life right now, things have changed a lot for them. For my generation, things don't seem that way. Maybe I have to wait another twenty years to see (if I'm even alive)...
