Da Last 2 days
We have my partners parents down for a few days to help finish the path along the side of the house, plus it's grandads birthday so we went out for Dinner last night - yum yum.
We should have all the pavers laid tomorrow and the stones down as well, yesterday we finished removing the last of the soil.
This morning we went and purchased the 26 x pavers we need to complete the path.
On the left are the pavers on the trailer and on the right is after we unloaded them, time to load the soil we want to get rid of.

We used 3 trailer loads of sand as a base which helped level the whole area out.
On the right is all the sand laid and level ready for some pavers tomorrow.
For Dinner we had a lovely Lamb roast with roast vegetables and all the normal stuff, just what was needed after a day of working outside.
There may have been some Bourbon n cokes consumed as that's what you do after a big day.

Just staring at the pic of the roasted lamb, I’m already salivating. I hope there will be another one after making the pave because I would love to join the team. So I could get a slice of it as well.

@kiwiscanfly, what a great family project! It's fantastic to see everyone pitching in to get that path finished, especially with grandad's birthday celebrations mixed in! The photos tell a great story of hard work and progress. That lamb roast looks absolutely delicious – the perfect reward after a long day of paving prep.
