My Travel day from New Zealand to Melbourne Australia went well today, my day started back home when my alarm went off at 2.50am NZ time.

I was already packed so all i needed was a quick cup of coffee before driving 1hr 50 down to Wellington to catch my flight.

I flew Air NZ this morning as they were cheaper than Qantas plus the Qantas flight gets to Melbourne at 5.30pm, the flight this morning was only about 25% full so we had room to move around etc.

Once we landed and i passed security etc i grabbed my rental car for this week, its a Hybrid Hyundai Tuscon which goes well.

Then i drove the 40 minutes to the area where my Hotel is, i arrived at 10am so i had some time to kill before check in at 2pm.

I did manage to check in at 1.30pm and i grabbed my stuff and went and checked out my room for the next 6 nights.

It's pretty flash and has everything i will need, the bed is comfortable and the shower works very well - just had a shower to try it.

I am on the 7th floor and this place seems reasonably quiet at this stage, there is a pool here and a GYM so i will make sure to check them out in the next few days.

This is the view from the Hotel which is alright, its an overcast day here in Melbourne today with a temp of around 21 degrees C.

Dinner tonight is just the usual for me when i am away from home, Salmon & Pasta salad YUM!

Tomorrow being day one is an early start (5am) so i think soonish i may be getting some sleep after not getting that much last night 💤😴💤😴
