Travel day to Sydney Australia

My partner and i left home today around midday and drove 2 hours south to Wellington International Airport.

We had a nice sunny day for the drive down and traffic was pretty good as well, after parking the car we caught the Shuttle to the International terminal.

Once there we passed security and grabbed a coffee and a cup of tea, our plane was delayed by 20 minutes but we ended up making that time up anyway.

Once we landed in Sydney we passed security and headed for the Taxi area, i was going to get an Uber but a taxi was right there available ready to go.

Then we got the Hotel and checked in before going to our room, its a pretty nice room which will be a great spot for the next four days.

Here is our room...

Here is the view from our room looking out onto Darling Harbor, its raining here at the moment as Sydney has had a bit of a weather bomb in the past 24 hours

It has a large shower and everything else we will need, we just went for a 20 minute walk to stretch our legs - now its time to relax!

Thank you very much for that

Have a happy day and behave yourselves 😆

I'm jealous! I'd love to visit Sydney but I fear that opportunity has passed me by... Unless flights become a lot cheaper or teleportation is invented or I become mega-rich!

You will become mega rich and will be visiting Sydney i feel.

That would be very nice. I'd be content with just being rich - I'm not sure what I'd do with the extra 'mega' wealth. Maybe I'd build a few schools or something. Create pointless jobs to help people get employment after their studies. That kind of thing.

Enjoy your holidays in Sydney with your partner. You both deserve it.
Too bad about the rain. Let's hope it clears up soon.

No rain today so we are heading out exploring

have a good day
