My post yesterday talked about having a relaxing few days at home, that changed after my post and some hard work was started.

We have wanted to put a proper nice path up the side of the house for a while now, with the help of my partners father he put in the edging down either side.

The grass needed to be removed and the soil removed from our property, so yesterday morning i started to remove most of the grass we need too.

On the left you will be able to see where i used a shovel to slice into the grass so that i could slide under and remove, on the right is the first strip i removed.

This is really good exercise for someone with office hands, but i just kept on working and started to see some good progress.

This morning i got up and started again in the hope to complete this, we had rain today so all of todays work was on the wet side.

By mid morning i had removed all of the grass and had a decent pile, felt quite tired after that LOL.

Now i needed to hire a trailer and load it with all of the soil/grass i had amassed, trailer to hire was $45 for a half day (5 hours).

It took me about an hour to load the trailer from where i had stacked it.

By lunchtime i had got rid of the soil/grass and washed the trailer and then returning it, after that i did some jobs inside the house like washing etc.

Tonight i will get all my stuff ready for my travel day to Melbourne Australia tomorrow.

This has been my busy day so far....
