Day 1 in da books

in #steemexclusive10 hours ago

My first day of work in Adelaide went really well and everybody i dealt with was great, today was a late start of 7.45am which is normal for day 1.

Tomorrow and for the rest of the week i start at 5am which sounds early, but a 5am start in Adelaide is real-time 7.30am in NZ so not that early after all.

Today in Adelaide we have had a overcast rainy day but its still been warm with a nice temp of 21 degrees C, the next week according to the weather report is looking rainy and stormy.

It was nice to only have a 8 minute drive to work as well which is a lot shorter than my commute when i worked in Brisbane last time.

Last night for dinner i went down to the Chinese takeaway which is very close to my Hotel, got me a Green Chicken Curry with some rice which was really nice.

The below is what i got from the Supermarket yesterday which is also nice and close to my Hotel, got some yummy watermelon and blueberries plus the normal stuff i need like Milk and extra Coffee.

Never had Watermelon and mint before 🤔🤔🤔

So my first couple of days in Adelaide have gone to plan, i was thinking about going for a walk but the rain has started again.

Maybe i will go the Gym here and walk on the treadmill.

Have a good day :)

That's my first time seeing a "snake habitat" sign. Looks like something we'd see in Florida.
