My travel day from Melbourne to home on Thursday went well with only a 30 minute plane delay leaving Melbourne.

As soon as we landed in in Wellington i noticed 2 things about the weather, the rain and the 9 degree temp.

Got into my car and i drove in the rain the 2 hours to reach home around 5pm, it was good to see everyone and sleep in my own bed.

On Friday after dropping the kids off at high school i did some housework including cleaning both showers/bathrooms - did about 3 loads of washing and vacuumed.

We had Roast chicken for dinner and i had a couple of Bourbon n cokes, yes my grass verge does look good!

Today my partner and i went out for lunch at our local favorite restaurant, the kids didn't want to come so off we went.

I had the Brisket Burger with chips which was fantastic as always, every time we go the food never fails to impress.

My partner had the Steak sandwich which she said was sensational, both meals and drinks cost $61 NZD.

Then it was time for a bike ride since i haven't been for a quite a while, today we have some 50 kilometres gusty winds which are a pain in the arse.

It could have easily been my excuse but i went anyway, parts of the ride the wind was so strong it slowed me down to a crawl - but pleased i went.
