My last couple of days in Brisbane have been very productive on a work front, i have also been making sure i get out for a walk after work since the weather has been great.

Work has been going so well that my boss said yesterday, since i have made such great progress i can bring my travel day home forward.

I was supposed to go home next Saturday but this has been changed to next Thursday, not telling my partner and will surprise her and the kids next Thursday.

Today after work i went for a walk around the lake as we have a stunning 26 degree C day here, lots of people out and about also enjoying the day.

These was even a group of people racing their model sail boats on the lake, they looked like they were having fun.

While out walking i saw quite a few of these beasts, this one let me get quite close before it ran away - about the length of a domestic cat so quite a bit bigger than a normal Gecko.

For dinner last night i went down to the Kebab shop and got a healthy box which has chicken n lamb on veggies - cost $24.

Its so big and i could only finish half of it, so i am having the rest as i type this masterpiece.

Tomorrow i was going to work but since i am ahead of where we should be i am taking the day off, pretty sure i will still be awake at 3.30am but should be able to get back to sleep...hopefully!

For the rest of today i am just relaxing and watching some sport and taking it easy.
