My Travel day to Perth Western Australia
It took me around 14 hours after leaving home before i checked into my Hotel in Perth, i left home at 3am NZ Time and drove 2 hours to Wellington Airport and had the roads pretty much to myself.
I had an hour to wait for my 6am flight leaving Wellington bound for Sydney Australia, the flight went well and i even got breakfast on the plane.
Sydney city is about to open a second International Airport as the current one is a circus, this morning was no exception when i got there LOL.
I caught a bus from the Int terminal to the Domestic one and waited 2.5 hours for my final flight of the day, spent most of that 2 hours walking around the terminal so i could get some steps in.
My flight from Sydney to Perth is a 5 hour flight and it also went well, got some lunch on the plane and watched a movie called Flight risk - not a bad movie.
Once i landed in Perth i went and got my rental car which is a Toyota Corolla just like my partners one at home - hopefully this Corolla does not get damaged like i did to the one in Brisbane a couple of months back.
Then i drove to the Quest which i stayed at when i was here in November of last year, the room is a carbon copy of the previous one and will work out nicely again.
I just had a shower to freshen up and i feel way better now, the shower has one of those rainfall head which i like.
Then it was time to go the local supermarket and get some supplies for the next 10 nights here, its nice to come back to an area i am familiar with.
I knew exactly where the potato salad and ready to eat salmon is in that supermarket.
Sydney is 2 hours behind New Zealand and Perth is another 2 hours behind, so i am 4 hours behind NZ Time at the moment. - fun fact for ya!
For the rest of today i will be relaxing and watching some TV, felling pretty knackered after todays travel but hey people travel a lot further than i did today.
Enjoy your day from me here in Perth Australia.

Bendiciones 🤩👍
Oh Amway nice, were they good to work for?
Yeah Airports and being busy is probably a good thing.
Thanks for stopping by and have a good day

Thank you very much for visiting my travel post today, have a great day :)
The room looks nice.
Wow, @kiwiscanfly, what a journey! That sounds like a proper trek from New Zealand to Perth. I'm always fascinated by travel posts, and yours really captures the experience—the early start, airport chaos, and that sweet relief of finally arriving at your destination. The photos are great too; they really bring the trip to life. That rainfall shower looks heavenly after all that travel!
It's also funny you mention knowing exactly where the potato salad and salmon are in the supermarket; that's the mark of a seasoned traveler right there! 😉 Hope you have a fantastic time in Perth and get some well-deserved rest and relaxation. Looking forward to hearing more about your adventures down under!
