My Travel day to the Gold Coast Australia
My Travel day from home in New Zealand to the Gold Coast Australia today went without a hitch, i left home at 2.50am NZ Time and did the normal drive to Wellington International Airport.
Parked the car and passed security then waited for my 6.05am flight, it was a pretty full flight and we got breakfast which was yummy.
Once i got to Gold Coast Airport i headed to the Rental car place and grabbed my car, i was half expecting to get another Toyota Corolla like i have had for the past 3 work visits to Australia - but no i got a Mazda which is a nice change.
While at the Airport i spotted what i want for my Birthday LOL, i may have to grab one on the way home.
As for my Hotel room i must say it's rather nice and i think i will be very comfortable staying here 12 odd nights.
The bathroom is a decent size and i love how big the Shower is hope the water pressure is good as well.
Got a nice bed and a TV in the lounge and one in my bedroom which will be handy.
Nice big lounge and kitchen area with a Stove top/oven and microwave, it has a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need for cooking.
And i always like it when places have a washing machine and dryer, i can wash and dry my clothes as many times as i want.
Here is the view out of my window which is very nice, i did want an apartment with a deck but someone booked the wrong type 🙄🙄 this will be fine!
This is the outdoor pool from level 33 which is the level i am staying on, i did just try out the indoor spa bath before jumping into the Sauna for 15 minutes.
After that i had a swim in the indoor pool to cool off, will get some pictures of the GYM/pool etc.
I just went to the Supermarket on the 1st floor and grabbed some stuff that i will need over the time i am here.
For dinner i am trying some spicy salmon which i have not had before, plus a reasonably looking salad.
So my travel day went well and i am pretty impressed with the Hotel.
Tomorrow i start work on this project which does involve working in a freezer, glad i got a sauna at the Hotel to come back too.

Working in a freezer during the hot season might be okay, but what about in the colder months? 🤔 Brrr 🥶~

The freezer stays the same temp all year round, so as long as you have your freezer gear on its the same.

Its nice to have a different car to cruise around in, as for not booking the deck...oh well.
i am back on the Gold Coast in Feb next year so will be sure to book one with a deck.

Looks like you are nicely settled into the nice apartment, with a breathtaking view of the marina. And the convenience of a supermarket on the first floor. That should come in very handy.
