Welcome to the Weekend edition of my work trip to Melbourne Australia, i was supposed to have had the weekend off until my boss rang me on Friday morning.

He asked of i could do some video analysis relating to work from the previous job i did in Melbourne - i said sign me up as i didn't really know what i was going to do.

So yesterday i spent 7 hours looking at the videos which i filmed (blaming the camera man for missing stuff), around 5pm i thought what can i have for dinner?

But before we get to dinner when ever i am outside i whistle and talk to the local magpie birds, this one was not shy and walked right up to where i was sitting having my morning coffee.

For Dinner i had a Chicken Kebab and some chips, it was pretty nice and hit the spot.

After a good nights sleep i got up around 6am this morning and had my morning coffee with the Magpies, then i worked another 4 hours on the video footage before driving into Melbourne Port area to meet my boss for lunch.

This is an American style restaurant with lots of slow cooked meats which is always a good meal, my boss was paying which is even better :)

For Lunch i had the Earles tasting plate which had beef brisket, pork and spicy sausage with chips/salad - left pic, my boss had the ribs on the right

It was very tasty and all of the meat was tender and yummy, i do not think i will need any dinner as i ate the whole lot.

With only 4 days of work left on this trip the next few days will be reasonably busy with tomorrow being the last 5am start, then i switch to starting at midday and will work till around 8pm for the last 3 days.

On Thursday i check out of my current accommodation and go to work as normal, after work i will drive to the Airport and get rid of my rental car.

My last night i will spend in Melbourne on this trip will be at the Ibis Styles at Melbourne airport as its nice and close to the terminal i leave from on Friday morning.

I have stayed at the Ibis on a pervious trip and it worked out well.

This has been my Weekend in Melbourne, time to go and relax.
