STEEM Flexible Earn - Binance vs. HTX

There is a conceptual difference between the Flexible Earn features of Binance and HTX.

On HTX, it is fixed, that means it does not change often and is exactly 5% in the last months.

However, on Binance, it is calculated dynamically, so there is a big change each time you check the value out, it is different. The value depends on the demand.

Until last month, on Binance the "interest" was two-digits, sometimes going above 40%-50%. Lately, though, it seems there is enough amount of STEEM tokens on the exchange, so the value isn't impressive. It is comparable to the powering up interest rate. (not taking into account the 4-weeks power down period needed to liquify, contrary to one-second reclaiming time for coins under Flexible Earn)

Thus, at the moment holding STEEM on HTX under Flexible Earn seems more attractive than those 2-3% stuck on Binance in the last months.

Keeping STEEM on the chain, doesn't bring any interest, unfortunately. Apart from the more secure storage place, perhaps.
