Potential Family Income from Bananas
I'm sure my fellow Steemit friends are familiar with bananas, a very popular fruit in tropical countries. Easy to grow and low maintenance, bananas are a favorite among farmers in Indonesia.
In Indonesia, especially in Aceh, bananas are often served as an accompaniment to rice, sticky rice, compote, fried bananas, and various other dishes. Even during the celebration of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday, bananas are included in the "khanduri" (a traditional meal) brought by people to be shared at mosques, meunasahs, and institutions commemorating the Prophet Muhammad's birthday, a celebration that can last for four months.
The high demand for bananas makes banana farming a potential source of income for families. Bananas can be grown in your yard or on unused land, as long as you are willing to put in the effort and care to produce high-quality bananas. You only need to plant once, and then the bananas will reproduce naturally through banana shoots/stems.
Bananas have the potential to prevent poverty and provide income for families.
