June 28. Summer with the scent of strawberries
Hello, friends! Here we are, finally enjoying strawberries from our garden! I was looking at the photos from @mamamasha and wondering: when will it be our turn?
Today we finally got to indulge in some delicious berries. They are large, fresh, and a bit tart - the berries turned out wonderfully! However, there hasn’t been much sun, which has also impacted the berries: during warmer weather, they tend to be sweeter. Nevertheless, we had a great lunch with the berries, sour cream, and sugar, along with some pancakes!Outside, it’s freezing cold - about 16 degrees. What kind of summer is this? Can we safely rename the season? Autumn, winter, spring, and dreadful cold? Is that what we should call this summer now?
Despite the cold outside, the men are busy with their work - they are putting up the frame for the bathhouse. It's good that everything is happening under a large roof. Rain and strong winds are not a concern there. The work itself helps to ward off the cold.
I don't know yet whether we will stay here for the night or go home. It seems that it's warmer at home anyway. However, there is still a lot of work to be done here (if we don't run out of materials before that time).
I decided to recall the English language, so for some time I will be writing here like this. Perhaps it will even be more convenient for my foreign friends.
With best wishes!
