Here is my recipe for offal pepper soup.
Ingredients
- Cow offal
- Pepper
- Seasoning cubes
- Curry/thyme
- Onion
- Ginger
Recipe
- A kilo of offal
- Few pieces of pepper as you desired
- Onion and spring onion
- 20 cubes of seasoning cubes
- Water
Procedure
After slicing the offal into desired sizes, wash thoroughly under running water severally until satisfied.
Then put them inside the pot, add water and set fire to boil until it is soft.
Grind the ginger, pepper and chop the onion into small pieces, unwrap your cubes and slice your spring onion.
After the offal is soften, add your pepper, onion, cubes, and curry and then cover it to cook properly.
Afterwards, add your spring onion stir, cover for 2 minutes and bring it down.
You offal is ready.
How do you know it is properly cooked?
Use your cooking spoon and try to cut one of the hardest parts.
If it easily cuts, its an indication that it's well cooked and ready for consumption.
You can eat it while drinking your favorite drink.

This used in Pakistan too. But mostly people avoid to eat it . Because it's smell too much and heavy to digest. But in Eid event we eat it . It's good to clean your stomach and for lactating mother's also good for them.
That's why I took a very long time to wash it and also long time to cook it to soften it.
When you add spices to it, you can perceive the smell again.
