just skidded into steemit, myself, so probably not ready for a steemit-related conference (just getting my feet wet) but I'll be watching the contest with interest!
Yeah, I actually did the exact same thing 2 months before the creation of the first steemfest. Yeah enjoy the platform and get to know everyone here first ^_^
