"SEC-S25W1: Full Body Focus"

Introduction

Hello fitness lovers, I warmly welcome you all to my blog. As we all know, body fitness exercises, no matter how little it is, has a great impact on our health both as young people and as aged, depending on the aspect or type we are involved in.

Every time I come across fitness exercises, I honestly usually commend those involved because I understand how tasking these exercises can be. But then, should I consider myself to be a pro, beginner or casual lover of body fitness exercise? The answer is, I'm intermediate. I used to get myself seriously involved in it until I relaxed and barely managed to exercise myself once in a long while.

I sincerely want to appreciate the Steemfit Community and especially our dearest esteemed fitness coach @ngoenyi for bringing on this challenge in order to motivate people like myself to be involved in body fitness exercises.

After a careful study of the fitness programme and all it requires for me to join the Steemit challenge, I decided I was going to split the exercise into two. This is because, each time I study the guidelines for this challenge, I'll go and practice each of the courses. I noticed that it wouldn't be easy embarking on the whole programme in one day. Not just that, I also thought that splitting it would help me get involved in exercising my body.

Due to my busy schedule offline, I decided the weekend would be better for me to embark on the fitness programme. I used Friday and Saturday specifically.

On the first day, I embarked on jogging in place, dumbbell squat and bent. I had to choose between jumping jacks and running in place. A bit funny, I found running in place easier and simpler than jumping jacks. You know what? I wanted to take running in place for 5 minutes and then take jumping jacks for 5 minutes as well, but by the time I finished running in place and then began jumping jacks, I felt exhausted and my feet aching and so, I couldn't undertake the two activities at once.

After that, I went into dumbbell squat and bent. Something made me change my mind and decided I would take it to the next day. That's because I didn't have a dumbbell set. The one I improvised wasn't too good, so I had to look for something better. I ended the day with stretches.

Fast-forward to the following day, which was a Saturday. It wasn't easy as I almost didn't want to continue due to pains in my body from the previous day's work. But I summoned courage to continue because it was necessary. I started with push-ups because I got it wrong the first day as well. This time, I was able to try my best. I didn't bother engaging in the advanced one, I went for the beginners pattern. I went for the 3 rounds before I continued.

I proceeded to the next one, which was dumbbell squats and then dumbbell bents. I had got something better. After the three rounds, I went into plank. I tried the activity differently three times in order to get it right. Honestly, it was difficult for me to bend my buttocks down because my hands were practically shaking and my body quaking due to trying to balance my hands and my feet on the ground. It was very comfortable carrying my buttocks up, but when I watched the video on the main engagement challenge post again, I had to return to redo the activity again. Was the experience a good one? Hail no! It wasn't that simple. But I had no choice. I must do it, not just for the challenge but for my personal body and fitness improvement.

My Experience during and after the Programs

It was through this fitness programme that I truly understood why the programme is called a challenge. It was truly challenging, it wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. From the jumping in place to the stretching, I found them interesting but a bit stressful because I am not really into fitness full-time. For people who are pros, they would have found it much easier than it was in my case.

I felt pains mostly in my upper hands because of the dumbbell exercises, during and after the activities. Another area I experienced pains was in my legs during the planks. I was practically shaking as though I was sick. I also felt sliding pains in my lower abdomen which I think are from the push-ups and maybe the planks. That's just an assumption although.

My overall experience while doing the activities was amazing. I hope the pain will not be much by the time I engage in the next sets of the challenge next week.
