SEC-S25W3:Building Strength (Increased Intensity).

I am excited to share my journey with the SEC-S25W3:Building Strength (Increased Intensity). This time, I worked on building strength program which included some interesting exercises. I have not traditional gym equipment, I used my creativity to make the most of what I had. Let’s dive into my experience!

◉🏋️‍♂️My Experience with Building Strength.🏋️‍♂️.

I did these kind of exercises first time. I felt very excitement and a little nervous. My dumbbell was not original. So I made my dumbbell by filling two plastic bottles with sand. These bottles worked fine. I spend good time for doing these exercises.

Before starting the main exercises, I did a proper warm up to prepare my body. I started with light walking to increase blood flow. Then, I did leg bending and moved my left and right legs one by one. These small moves helped me to activate my muscles and made me feel more flexible. I did it about 2 minutes. I felt my body getting warmer and ready for action. This warm up made a big difference and I am glad I did not skip it.

Next, I moved on to incline push-ups, where I placed my hands on a raised chair. This exercise tested my chest, shoulders and triceps. This exercise was very tough for me because that was my first time for this exercise. My arms was shaking when I was doing this. First problem was, there was no proper tool for this exercise. First I tried plastic stool but unfortunately broken during this. Then I took a chair and did this exercise.

Next I did, Dumbbell shoulder flys section. This exercise was also not easy but less different from above. My shoulders started to feel heavy after lifted the bottles up and out to the sides. I have not heavy bottles but I felt the muscles working. By the last rep, my arms were shaking but I kept going.

After doing dumbbell shoulder flys, my next part was dumbbell deadlifts. Holding the bottles filled with sand, I bent down and lifted them with keeping my back straight. It was a small challenging because the make shift dumbbells felt unbalanced. My body felt strain. At the end of part, my legs were sore, but it felt good to challenge myself with the movement.

After that I did most the most difficult part of this week exercise. The side plank was challenging for my core and obliques. I took position and my abdominal muscles started to burn, after 12 seconds I did not success in first attempt and then second was also same. The first few seconds were easy. In third attempt, I could feel my body wanting to give up but I did not give up. My body was shaking but I did. I focused on keeping my form straight and breathing deeply.

Finally, I ended with a cool down part of exercise. After all the intense exercises, it was such a relief to stretch my muscles. I focused on my head , back, legs and shoulders. The cool down helped me relax and easy from tension in my body. I felt refreshed and proud of the effort I put in.

I recorded 6 videos of my workout and merged them in one video with the help of KineMaster app. I also took my pictures during session. One of them shows my sweaty face, a real sign of hard work! I am proud of what I achieved.
