Great read... to be honest I wish they had more of a solar initiative here, you see random fields of panels which farmers must be getting subsidies for off the EU. But you never see houses with them like the UK initiative, you know what its like here right now blue skies and little cloud. The current grid needs upgrading drastically heavy rain or snow can cause power cuts.
sure. i just want something to keep the lights on when the power goes off. perfect for my van and for when on the road if the battery dies or something. sometimes you just have to get off ya backside and do it yaself ya know? i'm DONE with waiting for govs to come and save me! :)
That will be what I will do eventually its just not the top of my list right now. But glad you found a good solution.
it's part of the solution for sure, in the short term anyway.
