Cardiac coherence (also known as heart coherence) is a simple breathing technique that aims to stimulate the autonomic nervous system (or parasympathetic nervous system, also called the vagus nerve). In practice, we breathe slowly and regularly, for a few minutes, with a rhythm of 6 breaths per minute. This kind of guided meditation is backed by neuroscience and thousands of scientific studies.
