I'm really impressed with the concept, and the tech they've packed inside these bird houses. I also really love that they're made into bird houses too - although you'd need several on every tree to make a big difference to the local wildlife.

But this product got me to thinking...

Animals sense fire well before these sensors ever could. And what if you could build a sensor to track fleeing animals from an area (obviously ignoring migration/hibernation patterns). So, the sensor picks up the fleeing animal population(s), which triggers a "nature alert".

It wouldn't be fire-specific, as animals also flee other natural events, such as earthquakes, volcano eruptions, etc., but as a home-owner you'd be alerted that something was amiss. Then you can at least prepare to evacuate, and be on heightened alert.

Sorry for going a little off-topic/tangent, but nice hunting on the product itself - would love to see it used.
