The first ever domesticated, named, and documented dog in history is Abuwtiyuw. $ABU is an ancient Egyptian dog who lived around 1950 BCE during Egypt's Sixth Dynasty, mentioned in an inscription. He was honored with a luxurious burial ordered by the Pharaoh, showing how valued dogs were even back then.
