The biggest selling point is the Non-destructive editing. It can even be transformed into sort of an educational tool. There is a The built-in Chroma Key feature and there is a bunch of default filters to play around and also save time. $149 seems like a fair price for a professional. As I'm just a hobbyist, I'd rather go for a cheaper option.
