Where's the love interest? With Nate being so close to Virginia Tech University the plausibility of meeting a fellow techie and believer of crypto is very likely. The meeting could happen at the University (preferably during summer school) as Nate has mentioned the possibility of attending.
Reread it for love interest. Good idea though for a meeting place. I had them meeting on the road, out of town. The three story lines at this point are @picokernel's journey with every detail in the house and how it relates to a cryptocoin, @fyrstikken's narations of macro cosmic crypto world, and the juxtaposition of crypto's evolving relationship to the world in relation to Nate's relationship to his new environment.
