International Tequeño Day

Hello Steemit Community

Felicitations my dear chefs and food aficionados ! Today I'm thrilled to join this succulent festivity — International Tequeño Day, a date that fills our kitchens with the infectious aroma of fried dough and melting rubbish. Every October 21st, we recognize not only a snack, but a honest symbol of Venezuelan happiness the tequeño, born in the megacity of Los Teques, where this astounding bite came a public treasure.

When I suppose of Venezuelan banquets, I can’t conceive one without a plate of tequeños on the table. Whether it’s a birthday, a marriage, or a bare family reunion, they consistently take the limelight. For me, the tequeño is surely the king of every festivity, because it pleases everyone — children, grown-ups, and indeed those who do n’t generally like fried food. It’s brickle
, warm, and assuring in every bite.

I must confess, I started with the customary rubbish tequeño, but curiosity led me to explore further. I’ve tried them filled with guava, ham, funk, and indeed Nutella! Each variation gives a new twist, but cipher beats the original rubbish interpretation fresh from the visage — that fibrous rubbish melting as you take the first bite is simply unstoppable.

Sometimes I form them myself, specifically for assemblies with musketeers. I enjoy prepping the dough, cutting it into strips, and belting the rubbish sticks one by one — it’s a moment that feels both delightful and nostalgic. still, when I’m short on time, I also buy them from a small original bakery that makes them just as impeccably golden and crisp.

In my sentiment, the tequeño is n't overestimated at all. It deserves every bit of fame it has earned, both in Venezuela and beyond. It represents joy, sharing, and the attachment we deposit into our food.

And if I were to startle a tequeño patronage with you, I’d call it “ Tequeñísimo ” — a name that sounds blithesome, bodacious, and full of ambience. Our watchword could be “ Un tequeño, shop sonrisas ”( “ One tequeño, a thousand grins ”).

So, let’s elevate our tequeños tall moment and emblazon this brickle
little piece of Venezuelan pride. Long live the tequeño — the bright king of our tables! 🧀 ✨
