SLC23-W4 // "Pakistan's Cuisine"
Greetings and welcome back. It’s been another week of learning. Am sure enjoying this class so much. Thank you @suboohi for such insight full and adventurous culinary exposure.
This week we are dealing with parkistan cuisine. I was so excited to dig in. And the experience was awesome.
Have you tried any Pakistan's food? Which Pakistan's food is available at your local places?
I’ve not tried any parkistan food before today. Today was my first time of cooking and eating parkistan food. First I must say that I enjoyed the entire cooking process and the food was very delicious.
I’ve not seen any parkistan restaurants around my area. I know of Chinese restaurants but a I’ve never come across a parkistan restaurant.
Maybe I would still come across one someday and when I do, am going to explore the recipes available.
Make the given recipe or any recipe that you like from Pakistan's cuisine step by step in detail with pictures. Include your name tag with date in final presentationof recipe.
I prepared Chicken karhi as made in the class and the ingredients I used includes;

My Parkistan Khali recipe was ready.
Is your local cousin has any food that resembles with the shared recipe?
Yes, our fresh tomatoes stew for eating rice looks like this recipe but it has its unique differences. For example, I had never used yoghurt to cook before but today I did.
We don’t add yogurt to our local recipe and we get to cook the chicken before frying it but here I fried it straight without cooking it first.
Which flavour or spice do you like from Pakistan's cuisine ?
I must say that I enjoyed the ginger and garlic paste addition to the food. It gave it a beautiful flavor. One of my neighbors asked me what flavor was that and I told her it was ginger and garlic and she said she loved it.
I also love the aroma that the coriander brought to the food. It was a beautiful experience.
I ask @kidi40, @onomisy and @alli001 to come dig in to my parkistan cuisine.
