Let's celebrate the little ones at home

You know, every family has that one go-to food lover. Well, in ours, it’s my youngest, and guess what his ultimate pick every single time we eat out? Korean food. Even if I try to beat him to it. Like I’d be the one to suggest where to eat… Nope, can’t trick him. He’ll still go for Korean food without hesitation.

Every time I ask him, “Where do you wanna eat?”, I’m just playing dumb, like, “Ooh, I wonder what he’ll pick this time? He might pause, act like he’s thinking real hard, but deep down, I know we’re headed for Korean food. Always. No plot twist there. Anyway, it's a good thing that there are now many Korean restaurants here in the Philippines. It's even just a minute away from our home.
What he always requested was “samgyupsal”. He enjoys grilling different kinds of meat and trying those side dishes that come with it. Imagine that at 9 years old, he can handle eating those spicy dishes. We even tease him that “maybe you are Korean” because you always look for Korean food. Sometimes, he's mistaken for a Korean because of his skin and slightly slanted eyes.

Just recently, we celebrated his birthday, and since we already knew where he wanted to celebrate, we went again to a Korean restaurant called “Mani mok- O. Located at City Time Square Mactan, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. We've been there many times already, but it seems like he never gets tired of the food there. Even though the place is a bit crowded and you have to wait outside until a table becomes available. But seems he really doesn't care as long as he gets to eat at his requested place.
All the foods here are unlimited, like the thinly sliced pork and beef for grilling, different flavors of fried chicken, side dishes, desserts, and drinks. This restaurant offers an unlimited buffet for only 499 pesos per person or about 61.83 Steem. The amount we've paid is worth it. Besides having a barbecue, my son always refills his plate with fried chicken and fries. We've paid /per person or in Steem. Since he is 9 years old, we've paid half of the price for him. Half price? For me, considering the amount of food that he eats, it's more than half.

At home, he loves to help my husband make some dessert. He is very excited and curious about what his father has been doing. Just like this homemade vanilla Oreo ice cream.Simple but always a winner. He's been wanting to help. Since he cannot hold the mixer yet, his only task is to spread the crushed oreo on the top of the ice cream that my husband made.
In our ice cream business, he also wants to help. Like this video, he's been promoting how we make the ice cream that we sell. This video was taken a year ago.
