My Deliciously Moist Chocolate Cake | 26-07-2025 |

This is me @isha-rehman I hope you all are doing well and having a beautiful day. today I’m so happy to be sharing my first entry here with all of you lovely people. As someone who truly enjoy being in the kitchen trying new recipe and spreading sweetness around I decide to make a dessert that closed to everyone heart a soft moist and super chocolaty Cake It simple to make and the result is a cake that riched in flavor and perfect for birthday tea time or just when you need a little sweet comfort. So let get right into the full recipe. I know it been a few days I am finally sharing this post a little late. This chocolate cake was actually made on the 26th but I wasnt feeling well and needed some rest so I am posting it today.
Chocolate Cake Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup oil
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 cup hot water

Method:
1. Preheat your oven:
Grease your cake pan with a little oil or butter and dusted it with flour or line it with parchment paper to avoid stickness.
2. Prepare the dry ingredient:
In a large bowl sift together the all purpose flour cocoa powder baking powder and baking soda. Sifting make sure there are no lump and help the cake come out nice and fluffy.
- In a separate bowl beat the egg and sugar until they becomed light and creamy. This step is important because it help incorporate air making the cake soft.
- Added the oil vanilla essence and milk to the egg mixture and mix everything well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredient into the wet mixture. Stir slowly and gently to combine don overmix.
- Add the hot water slowly into the batter. The batter will be a bit thin but that’s completely normal it gives a moist texture after baking.
- Poured the batter into your prepare cake pan and tap it gently to remove air bubble.
- Bake for 30–35 minute or until a toothpick insert into the center come out clean. Baking time may vary a little depending on your oven so keep an eye on it after 30 minute.
- Once bake let the cake cool completely on a wire rack before applying frosting.

Optional Frost Recipe:
While the cake is cool you can prepared a quick and smooth chocolate frost.
- Melt the chocolate butter and cream together using a double boiler.
- Let it cool slightly so it thicken a bit but is still spreadable.
- Once the cake is cool spread the frost over the top using a spatula or the back of a spoon.
You can also decorate it with chocolate chip sprinkle or fruit if you like. This chocolate cake was a joy to bake and even more enjoyable to eat Soft rich and full of flavor it a recipe I will definitely be making again. I hope you all like it and feeled inspire to try it in your own kitchen.
