Week No.72 organized by @nancy0 mam in the Steemit Iron Chef community, this week I will share the great Peanut Naru recipe. Peanut Naru is a popular sweet dish, which is made with nuts and jaggery with other ingredients added to enhance the taste. Badam Naru is a traditional dessert dish which is made during various festivals or occasions.

Almonds are not only delicious to eat, but they are also a nutritious food. Almonds contain a lot of protein, fat, vitamins and minerals, which are very beneficial for the body. Jaggery provides the necessary energy for the body. Healthy ingredients are used in making almonds, which are very beneficial for our body. Therefore, almonds are popular as a healthy and tasty food.

Ingredients required for making Peanut naru:

Easy method to make peanut naru:

Step 1:

  • To make almond naru took 200 grams of peanuts. I placed a pan on the stove and kept the heat on low and roasted the peanuts for 5-6 minutes. When the color of the nuts changed, I poured them into a bowl.

Step 2:

  • To add to the almond laddu, I roasted 100 grams of sesame seeds in the same pan. I roasted the white sesame seeds for 1 minute on low and kept the heat on low. When the color of the sesame seeds changed and the sesame seeds started to sprout, I removed them from the stove and poured them into a bowl.

Step 3:

  • At this stage, I waited for some time and cooled the nuts. When the nuts cooled, it became easier to peel the nuts. When the nuts cooled, I peeled the nuts by rubbing them between my palms.

Step 4:

  • Take the peeled almonds in a mixing jar and grind them into powder. When the almonds start to look lumpy while blending, you will know that the almonds are blended. The almond powder is ready to make almond paste.

Step 5:

  • Now I put a pan on the stove and added the grated jaggery. To melt the jaggery, I added 1/4 cup of water to the jaggery. Then I stirred it and mixed the jaggery with the water.

Step 6:

  • When the jaggery melts and mixes with the water, I add almond powder and roasted sesame seeds to the boiling mixture. Adding sesame seeds doubles the flavor of the almond paste.

Step 7:

  • I mixed all the ingredients very well and mixed them with the jaggery mixture. After mixing everything, stir on low heat for five minutes to make a sticky dough. When the dough leaves the bottom of the pan, I removed it from the stove in this state.

Step 8:

  • I let the mixture cool for some time. When it cools slightly, take a little mixture in your hands and shape it into a naru. I will make all the almond naru in the same way.

Step 9:

  • In this way, peanut laddu can be made and stored for several days. It is as delicious as it is healthy to eat.
