Yes, of course, sweets play an important role on special occasions because they symbolize celebration and sharing of joy.It is a popular custom to distribute sweets to celebrate good news such as birthdays, weddings, and promotions.Sweets have an association with joy and celebration, which makes these occasions more joyful.Sweets are usually a means of exchanging love, affection and greetings between family, friends and acquaintances.Sweets usually add a special feeling of joy that makes special moments more sweet and memorable.We usually serve sweets first when entertaining guests. This is one of the customs of our tradition and culture.When we succeed in any good deed, we first distribute sweets to everyone.Distributing sweets on auspicious occasions like birthdays, weddings, housewarmings, or celebrating any success is one of the customs of our rural culture.Everyone in my family, young and old, loves sweets, so we serve them first at any festival.

Dear teacher, in this course, she has prepared two recipes, one is gram flour barfi and the other is semolina halwa.Since I had all the ingredients to make Sujir Halwa at home, I decided to make Sujir Halwa today as a participation in this competition.Below I have given the step by step process of making semolina halwa along with the ingredients.

Semolina | 2 cup |
Sugar | 1 cup |
Liquid milk | 1 cup |
Ghee | 2 tablespoons |
Orange food colour | A pinch |
Walnuts and raisins | 10 Piece |
Cardamom | 3 Piece |
🥧 Step - 1 🥧
- First, I put a pan on the stove and added two tablespoons of ghee to it.When the ghee is hot, add three pieces of cardamom in it.After stirring for some time, I added two cups of semolina inside.I have fried the semolina well with ghee for some time.I roasted them until the semolina turned light brown and had a nice aroma.
🥧 Step - 2 🥧
- When the semolina turns light brown and has a nice aroma, I add one cup of sugar to it and pour one cup of liquid milk, a pinch of salt and one cup of water into it.Here I have used a pinch of salt because the combination of sugar and salt will create a nice sweetness.
🥧 Step - 3 🥧
- Once the semolina had risen well, I added a pinch of orange food colour to the inside.Then I cooked it well for some time.Finally, when the semolina thickened, I removed it from the stove and left it to cool.
- Once the semolina halwa was ready, I chopped the walnuts into small pieces to serve them nicely on a plate.Then to serve it beautifully on a plate, first I arranged the semolina halwa in a circle and then I added the chopped walnuts and raisins.The use of orange color here makes the semolina halwa look very attractive.
- Then I cut the semolina halwa into small pieces and served them to everyone.Finally, I wrote a note with my username and the date of preparation along with today's Sujir Halwa recipe.

Finally, as per the contest rules, I took a selfie with today's semolina recipe that I made.Friends, it was as delicious to eat as it was to look very attractive.The layer of nuts and raisins on top made it as delicious as it looked.Suji is usually eaten as halwa but today when I cooked it my whole family liked it a lot.

Since I have made the Suji Halwa recipe today, the most important ingredient for me to make Suji Halwa is Suji.In making semolina halwa, one cannot imagine halwa without semolina.Semolina is a very nutritious food that is rich in protein, fiber, vitamins, and minerals.It is helpful in weight control, improving digestion, preventing heart disease and controlling diabetes.Semolina enhances brain function and provides essential nutrients for the nervous system.Eating cooked semolina keeps the stomach full for a long time, which prevents overeating.
Another ingredient in making semolina halwa is milk.Milk is also a nutrient-rich drink that strengthens bones and teeth, helps build muscle, and boosts immunity.The benefits of milk cannot be exhausted because milk is a highly nutritious food.Mixing milk with semolina and cooking it makes a healthy halwa which is very beneficial for the health of people of all ages.
We usually use sugar to sweeten any food because it makes the food sweeter.Since I am making semolina halwa today, sugar will provide a sweet taste in making semolina halwa.However, the amount of sugar in semolina should be used in moderation because excess sugar is harmful to our health.
Almonds and raisins are two very important ingredients for our body.If you drink water soaked in raisins every morning, your body's immunity will increase significantly and general weakness will decrease.The protein, fiber, vitamins, minerals, and healthy fats they contain provide essential nutrients for the body and help prevent disease.
Ghee plays a very important role in making any sweet dish. Eating ghee increases the body's immunity, helps in digestion, and is very beneficial for the skin and hair.Using ghee in making any sweet turns it into a beautiful aroma.
