"Recipe of the Day, Week No. 77:(Homemade Shami Chicken Kebabs)

Warm greetings to all.🌸 I'm thrilled to have you here on my blog dear steemians. I am loving the energy of our Steemit community. Alhamdulillah, life has been treating me well . A big thank you to our ma'am @nancy0 for organizing this Recipe of the Day contest. it is the perfect opportunity to share our culinary passions.👩🍳 Today guys, I made the most mouth watering Shami Kababs. I am eager to share the recipe with you all steemians.

The ingredients which I used for these shami kebabs are :

7 | Red Chilli Flakes |
8 | Red Chili Powder |

10 | Coriander Seeds |
11 | Egg |
Procedure :
Step 1 |

To start, I prepped the ingredients. I washed and boiled the chicken with water and salt. While that was boiling, I chopped the onions and fresh cilantro guys. When the chicken was cooked. I shredded it. Next I boiled some potatoes.

Next steemians I peeled the potatoes and then mashed them in a plastic bowl using a masher. When mashed I added the shredded chicken and mixed it in. I also added chopped onions to the mix.

Next, I added the spices. Then I added the chopped green chilies. I also add fresh cilantro to the mixture. The cilantro really brings out the flavor and freshness in these kababs guys.

Next, I added fresh mint and gave everything a good mix with my hand. I love getting in there guys. When I mixed I tasted it to see if it needed more salt or spice. It was a bit undersalted so I added a pinch more salt steemians. When everything was well mixed. I shaped the paste into small round cutlets similar to shami kababs.

Next, in a separate bowl I cracked an egg into it. Then I added a tablespoon of milk in it. Then whisked it until smooth guys.

Next, I coated each shami kabab in the egg mixture. I fried them in a pan with ghee. I repeated this process for all the kababs. I dipping each one in the egg mixture before frying.

I fried the kababs in the pan flipping them over once the first side was golden brown and then cooked the other side until it was perfectly done. That is how I ended up with these mouth watering chicken shami kababs.
