A warm welcome to my blog. My heartfelt gratitude and greetings to all the admins, moderators and members of the Steemit Iron Chef Community. Hope my all steemit friends doing great with the blessings of Allah Almighty. I am thrilled to be participating in the amazing salad making contest. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to dear @dasudi and @lirvic ma'am for organizing it. I am looking forward to share my skills and getting creative with delicious salads.

So let's start :

✪ Make a "Chickpea Salad": with the guide presented in this course, add the variation to your liking, (details utensils, ingredients and step by step).✪

The Ingredients Which Is Required For Chickpea Salad:

The Ingredients Which Is Required For Chickpea Salad Dressing :

Preparation:

Step 1

First, I had soaked the chickpeas overnight for salad. So , I started by boiling them. After boiling , I let them cool down. Then I add them in a pan. I sprinkled some red chilli powder and add a bit of olive oil then frying them for 2 to 3 minutes to give them are crispy texture.

Step 2

Then , I gave the veggies a good wash and began chopping them. I started chopping from the onions then cabbage, coriander, mint leaves , cucumber, bel pepper and tomatoes.

Step 3

After that I add all the chopped veggies into a glass bowl and gave them a good mix. Then I added a sprinkle of chat masala , just one tablespoon.

Step 4

Next, I prepared the dressing for a chickpea salad. I added the ingredients which I mentioned earlier into a blender. Then, I squeeze a lemon juice in it. After blending it smoothly. I poured the yogurt paste into a bowl.

Step 5

Then I add the curd paste over the chickpea salad and give it a good mix to combine everything.

Then steemians, After mixing everything together perfectly, I added the chickpea salad in a new dish. Next, I add a fresh mint leaves for a pop of color and taste.

Actually, this is not my first attempt for the chickpea salad. I have made it many times before. This salad is very staple in my home. We all love it. It is favourite during family get together and other special occasions. It is known as chana Chaat in my area. It is always a hit. This salad is a rich in flavour. This is incredibly delicious 😋 dish. My family giving it two thumbs up 👍. It is turned out a super delicious and amazing. The best part is , it is easy to made and customize our taste. Me and my family just loved the taste of it. We enjoyed it while eating. I am so glad friends that it met my expectations. It is a fulfilling friends to see everyone enjoying it. It makes me feel proud friends.

  • You know friends, The cucumbers 🥒 are made up of 96% of water, that's why these are an excellent source of hydration. They are low in calories and perfect snack for those watching their weight. It may reduces the symptoms of arthritis. It is supports hair and nail growth. It is a refreshing vegetable.
Benefits Of Bel Peppers !

These are an excellent source of vitamins like A and C. They can help to boost the immune system and also supports skin health. It reduce i wrinkles and aging lines. It also reduces the risk of chronic disease. It also reduce is the risk of certain type of cancer.

Benefits Of Onions !

It is very beneficial for over all health. Introduce is the risk of heart disease, diabetes and cancer. It is a good source of fibre and potassium. It plays a role in weight management. It also reduces the risk of certain infections due to its amazing properties.

✪Do you have any special tips for making this salad? Share them.✪

Yes of course, I have some tips that I want to share with you all.

Always use fresh chickpeas and always washed them very well for removing the extra sodium. Always chopped the vaggies that suits on our own taste. I didn't add the parsley because I could not find it here. But parsley gives an extra delicious touch to the salad. So we can add parsley herb in the salad. Left the salad in refrigerator for 20 to 30 minutes. Olives are great edition in this salad. The olives are not only delicious but also packed with numerous health benefits. We can also add avocado in it. Remember one thing friends, don't overdress the salad. Balance is a key. These tips can help to make a delicious chickpea salad.

I am impressed by your love for garbanzo salad and the careful preparation process. Especially the idea of ​​frying the garbanzo beans to give them a crispy texture and making a creamy dressing with yogurt is very different and interesting. I have also made a similar recipe, you can see. ☺️
