Recipe of delicious porridge plantain and beans made by me. 🍲

Hello greetings to all my loving steemians over the world I believe you all had a wonderful day as I had. I'm excited to participate in this food contest, after coming back from school today being the last day of our departmental exam I think of what I should cook to eat one meal come into my mind guess what was that! Plantain sauce, but I discover that I have beans in my house and I like beans so much, instantly I changed my plan and go for my main favorite delicacy which landed my final food decision to porridge plantain and beans. 🍲

I made this delicious meal by my self using my own method for preparation which I would love to share here for others to spot.

After having all those ingredients I can now prepared my food following this format or steps.

Step1

Washing the beans into the pot and parboiling it, during the moment the pot of bean was on gas I slice the onions, blend pepper and slice the plantain into a container.

## step 2

I checked on the beans if it has been soft, and it was soft so i turn it in to the shifter and turn in the plantain into the pot and add 2 cups of water on it and place the pot on fire, when adding water you don't need to add much water so that you will be able to get the porridge thickness.

## step 3

When the plantain got boiled check if it is soft small, if it is turn in the beans into the same plantain pot and give it a little turn, mine was so thick after adding the beans to the plantain so I added small amount of water to the pot and covered the pot

## step 4

When both the beans and plantain got boiled and soft I add all the necessary ingredients like the cray fish and others ingredients and cover the pot again for everything to mixed together.
After 2 minutes my food was done and ready for consumption.

For plantains

. Plantain are rich in good source of fibers which support good digestion and better blood sugar control.
. Plantain also rich in potassium: this is an excellent potential maintaining healthy blood pressure and also good in promoting bone health in the human body.

. Beans is a high source of protein in the body which help for body build up and others good functions.

. It also support a good and healthy blood sugar levels.

Plantain and beans is so essential to the body it health benefits is always friendly with the body system.

I really enjoyed eating my delicious food after cooking, I eat it the way I wanted it.😄
