Crispy Golden Brinjals
Crispy bites soft hearts and full of flavour
Hello friends
I am sarosh-akbar58 and today I am excitted to share one of my favrite recipies with you crispy golden brinjals
This dish is cruncy on the outside soft and tender inside and bursting with flavour It is true comfert food that evryone loves You can enjoy it as a snack or pair it with rice or chapati for a satisfing side
Ingredients
• 3 large firm brinjals also called eggplents
• 1 teaspoon solt or to taste
• 1 teaspoon turmaric powder
• 1 teaspoon chlli powder ajust to your taste
• half teaspoon cumin seeds optional but adds extra flaver
• cookng oil for frying any nutrel oil works well
• fresh corriander leaves finely chopped for garnesh
Steps
1. Choose good brinjals
Pick shiny firm brinjals without dark spotes Fresh ones give the best crunsh
2. Wash them well
Rinse under runing water and pat dry with a clean towl
3. Slice them
Cut into quarter inch slices round or lengthwize Thin slices cook evenly and get crisper
4. Salt and rest
Sprincle salt on the slices and let them rest for ten to fiften minuts This draws out exess water and prevents oilynes Rinse lightly and dry agan
5. Heat the oil
Pour oil into a deep pan and heat untill hot enugh for frying Test with a small slice It shuld sizzle imediatly
6. Fry until crisp
Add slices in smal batches without crowdng the pan Fry until golden and crisp three to four minuts Drain on paper towls or a rack
7. Mix the spices
In a smal pan warm solt turmaric chlli powder and cumin seeds in a litle oil for about thirty seconds untill fragant
8. Toss the brinjals
Return fried slices to the pan coat them with the spice mix and cook on low heat for two to three minuts
9. Garnish and serve
Sprinkle with freash corriander leaves and serve hot
And that is it a quick simple and flavourful recipe that turns humble brinjals into an irestistable treat
