Assalamu Alaikum Everyone. I hope everyone is well by the grace of Allah, I am also well Alhamdulillah. Today I have come to participate in the first week of the steemit challenge SLC27-W1 // "Desserts From Grain" organized by the honorable teacher @suboohi madam. I am happy to participate in this wonderful challenge.

Yes, I think sweets are important on special occasions because they symbolize joy, celebration and good wishes. Which highlights the social and cultural heritage and creates a festive atmosphere.
In many cultures, especially in Bengali culture, sweets are distributed on festivals and auspicious occasions, which symbolize joy and prosperity. Any dessert brings joy to the mouth and satisfies the mind, which makes the special occasion more enjoyable. Sharing sweets strengthens social ties and is a means of sharing joy. Sweets are considered a beautiful gift, which brings joy to loved ones and expresses love for them. Also, serving sweets on various occasions creates a festive atmosphere and increases joy.
✅Make one of the recipes that are shared in the course with a detailed step-by-step procedure along with images.
First, I will take a measure of gram flour in a clean container and add 3 tablespoons of oil to it, then rub my hands together well and mix both the ingredients. Mix in such a way that the texture of the gram flour changes from powder to grainy. We will need this texture to make the perfect sweet. Now add 2-3 teaspoons of milk to it and mix well again.
Now strain the gram flour using a strainer and take it in another clean container.
Now put a pan on the stove and add the strained gram flour in it and fry it well. Fry it till the gram flour turns yellow to golden in colour, the gram flour will be fried in about 4-5 minutes. Then remove it from the stove.
Now I will make the sugar syrup. To make the gram flour syrup, first put a pan on the stove and add 2 cups of sugar and 1 cup of water. Then add 3 cardamoms and a little food colouring to it and keep stirring continuously. To get perfect results, the consistency should be maintained, it will be ready in 5-6 minutes. After 5-6 minutes I took some syrup on my finger and tested whether it was sticky and a thread was formed between the two fingers. If a thread was formed between the two fingers then it was ready.
Now I poured the sugar syrup into the fried gram flour and added the remaining oil and cooked it well while mixing it continuously. After about 4-5 minutes it started to thicken and our sweet was ready.
Now I poured the entire mixture into the container in which I would make the dessert. Within a few minutes of pouring the mixture into the container, it solidified, then I added some nuts on top of it for decoration so that the gram flour barfi looked more attractive.
Now I cut the gram flour barfi as per my heart's desire and served it. & I added a note with my name on it.
Then I took a selfie with the gram flour barfi I had made.

Although brown sugar or natural sugar contains some nutrients (such as iron, calcium, magnesium), it is more than refined sugar, but it should be consumed in moderation. ✔️Soybean oil: Soybean oil is a beneficial food rich in vitamins and minerals. It is an excellent source of vitamin E, which protects the body from the harmful effects of free radicals as a powerful antioxidant. The omega-3 fatty acids in soybean oil enhance brain function and nourish the skin. It controls cholesterol in the body and is beneficial for the heart. In addition, soybean oil strengthens bones and helps reduce the risk of chronic diseases. ✔️Cardamom: Cardamom is a nutritious and beneficial spice that has many health benefits like improving digestion, relieving shortness of breath, reducing weight, and eliminating bad breath. It helps in removing harmful toxins from the body, maintains good skin health, and plays a role in solving high blood pressure and heart problems due to its antioxidant properties. All ingredients are beneficial as well as harmful for our health, so we should eat any food in moderation. So that everything in our body is in balance.
